This was a good lesson for me in depth, as well as negative space, and values. I was running out of my favorite
color - blue, so I decided to take a crack at it with a more violent hue, red. Due to the amount of layers the paper warped a bit, even though it was taped down. I have a rather large bible that I stick finished water colors into to press them a bit, making them straight and flat again.
The more I experiment with water colors, the more I like them - they're quick to work with and dependent on your mood you can really put some cool things down on paper.
